Harmonic Balancer differences?

Harmonic Balancer differences?
My brother has a 73F100 with a 240 CID and the harmonic balancer on it has the 2 groove type. He wants to add power steering setup from a donor 79F100 with a 300 CID which has a 3 groove style balancer. Can the one on the 300 be swapped over to the 240 without any issues? Thanks.

The million dollar question! All I know is that the 300 is a stroked 240. The crank is interchangeable. The v.d. on the 240 is much smaller. How could a larger 300 v.dampener cause problems?
I know that is no answer, but it's the best I can do. I would say to ask FTF on the other forum.
