The original V8 would have been a 352 2V, which has a bore of 4.00" and a stroke of 3.50"
Wouldn't be surprised if one found the oil dripping right off the bottom of the flywheel access plate as it works down the back of the engine. What FE truck doesn't have that leak? In fact my truck, the Cougar and the Park Lane all drip a few drops per day from there. Simple solution is a jar...
