If you have a truck V8 in there, you say 390 but who knows, the engine would take a total of 6 quarts (5.678 liters) when the filter is also changed out. Also your VIN listed shows your truck to be a 1968.

Welcome to FTE, looking forward to your input and post pic's of your classic treasure if and when you can. According to the 65 shop manual the torque value is 10-12 ft. lbs, or roughly 13.5 to 16 newton meters but make sure to check these fiqures. Here's a pic' of the spec sheet. As for the drain plug, I tend to go for the lower value, stripping the drain pan threads can become problematic.

Check the back of the intake manifold. This engine is prone to leaking there and running down and dripping underneath and looks like a rear seal or front of oil pan leaking.
