I'm selling my truck and I put a reman engine 20k miles ago and a reman trans 40k miles ago, does it increase the value when selling it? My truck has 190000 miles on it. I have all the reciepts with the milages on them to prove it. Just trying to see if maybe I'm asking too much for my truck.
I would certainly think that having receipts from quality remanufactured units like an engine and transmission would be most benificial in asking more for your truck than if it had not received the newly remanufactured units-who did the labor? what companys reman units are they? anyone we know?

Me personally, I just a warm fuzzy feeling when I hear newly rebuilt or new components, especially with reciepts. It takes some of the stress out of wondering "Is there anything wrong under the hood". You have documentation so it will help you with the sale, period, providing it was a reputable shop like you say. I'm no expert but let that price ride, I don't think its out of line.
