F6 upload problem

Did you download the drivers and stuff from DP? You gota change the settings on your computer for it to download them to the chip. What part are you having a problem with? The first time I did it I was lost but I have done it about 4 times now.

Ya. First you have to download the driver and there is also an instruction sheet that is downloadable. Download the tunes and put them in a folder. When you got everything downloaded open up the device utility PDF file and that will give you the instructions how to set up the computer also open up the actual DP device which should be an icon on your desktop. Follow the PDF file instructions and you should be good . I know it's confusing I had to do it a couple times and once it is all on the chip if you have the digital switch you will have to reprogram it for how many spots you have.

I did the driver installation. I got the downloads from Jodi but i'm unable to open .bin files. I went on to the software installation and got stuck. No. 2 (open the software) what software do I open?
Does the DP tuner on the truck need to be on (key on)? I don't see that screen that shows on the Device Utility (the split screen)?

No you want to keep they key off. So you opened the icon that is on you desktop that says DP tuner device? Then open up the instructions part where it tells you how to set up your computer set up the settings then go back to the actual DP tuner icon click on a column on the left hand side pick browse for selection find the tune you want then click on write selection I will try and take a video of how to do it tomorrow

You don't open the .bin files. Derek has you on the right track and I have sent your email to Jody and James. I received it be mistake. One of them will contact you. We also have our new knowledge base we hope you will find helpful in the meantime.
