Yep, that looks familiar. My cab is sitting loosely in the correct position so I can do the necessary measuring and thinking. I have the engine on stands on the floor, the next thing is to bolt the trans on and see what to do about the cross member. Gotta think about the clearance from the pan to the axle and tie rod too. It is a van pan though.
Looking at the 2nd picture posted by Zoot above you can see the stock 289/302/351? left side exhaust manifold that will clear almost any front end steering box combo I think. I am uncertian if that manifold is satifactory with a 351W, Others should know. Flow numbers might be a bit low with it on a 351W in particular. I am sure that looking at it, that it would work well with the Jag IFS. Are there others that have used this style with different front ends/steering boxes?

Those appear to be 65-66 Mustang. That's what I'm using on my 302/AOD with a Volare...
Two things, I see you used that light weight, thin, weak, candy A$$, wimpy, killer, unsafe, poorly engineered Mustang II kit ……………..and you shop is way too clean to be productive, mess it up and make me feel better!
On my rig I think I will have enough room in there for the appropriate header. The collector will have to hug the backside of the mount and drop vertically until the steering box is cleared.

Exhaust flow has always been the downfall of just about every Ford engine ever built. The 351 heads used the same size (ie: puny) exhaust ports as the 289/302, even in the early years when at least the intakes were bigger. The stock manifolds, in most cases, weren't any different from those used on the 302. So while not ideal, (not that they were for the 302, either) they will work on the 351. But if you can squeeze anything better in there, it would make a big difference in performance.
