Red face Moates Quarterhorse ?'s

Ok. So I've got a '93 f-150, new 393 stroker, 4x4, E4OD, new Maf coversion, WAY1 pcm, Moates QH. I did the wire harness re-pin/conversion myself, and am very confident everything's correct. I hooked the QH to the computer and up loaded the VEX1 def and WAY1 strat to the QH. Plugged in the QH to the PCM and loaded BE, exactly like the directions say. Everything worked pretty good-

But, I cannot get my Innovate LC-1 to work consistently with BE. It seems to 'flicker' in and out (on and off) of being hooked up. It works well by itself, with the LM programmer, but not with BE.

As well as; I put in a new high power 130 amp alternator, and now after the 'write/update' function on BE my alternator no longer charges. ie- it charged before hooking up the QH, and BE. I'm only getting about 4 volts from the green/red stripped 'run' wire to the alt.

And, I'm getting this message everytime I load BE- 'XPayloadTag is neither a DataColumn nor a DataRelation for table Tables' Anyone know what it means, besides the obvious? And how to get rid of it?

I got rid of all of the emission equipment, and think I disabled it on the pcm. pretty sure anyway.

Who would have thought that tuning would be this complicated?!? LOL

Anyway, thanks in advance for the help.

P.S.- I'm new to the tuning side of a motor. (if it wasn't apparent )

I haven't had any problems with the LC-1 communicating with BE once I got an updated version of BE installed on the laptop, what version of the software are you running? I can't halp you with the other problems as I have never seen them so try posting your problem here.. EECTuning.org • Index page

Build 18 imposed some new requirements on the *PayloadTag columns in the strategy. The maintainer of the strategy file should be able to fix this.

Update- 17-10-2010

The wideband is now hooked up correctly (egr input)

The alt is now working, needed a ground for some reason

Still getting the above message everytime I open BE.

The one thing I found when trying to set the tb, maf, and idle, is that the QH isn't reading my rpm. Its at a constant 14086. I don't understand?!?!

It only "reads" what you tell it to datalog. So what are you telling it to log?

I don't know what "everything" is.

So I can't tell why your RPM is not showing up. On what screen is it now showing up?
