Unknown plugs??

Anyone know what these are for. There are 2, one on the drivers side, and an identical one on the passenger side. They are underneath on the backside of the fender wells. I'm guessing they are for lighted running boards?? But would like confirmation on that.

I'm guessing you have a 99 or 00 truck without 4 wheel abs. those plugs are for the abs.
