I have an 06 F350 CC for a company truck and I was hauling another truck in from a job the other day and the 6.0 went into limp mode. I have been have no start problems lately also. I pulled to the shoulder and shut it down to reset the limp mode and of course it wouldn't start. It does it when it is at operating temp. I get it towed to the shop and put a battery charger on it to get the batteries back up where I was cranking to try and get it started. After it cooled down it starts right up.
I put the computer on it today and I have some code I would like for you guys to help me understand what would set them off.
The first one is (supercharger overboost condition)
The second one is(Injector control pressure too low-engine cranking)
I suspect that the injector code is probably an o-ring problem in the high pressure oil system causing the no start problem but which one(s).
I don't understand the supercharger overboost. I was under a heavy lowed pulling a hard hill when it happen but I wouldn't think that the computer would let it overboost. My coolant and transmission temp were not high. Could my EGT's have gotten high setting off this code? The truck is stock.
overboost means that you passed 30 psi of boost. stuck/sticking turbo would be suspect here.
the icp to low is infact a high pressure oil problem of some sort. you will need to air test the system with the ipr commanded to 100% duty cycle. to figure out what the sorce of the leak is.
I have the procedure described in my "No Start" thread (or have links to it) - it is near the top in the Tech Folder. If you do not see it there, I can post it agan.
