a flip is for the rear spring pack, its a reversal for the front.
to be honest if you plan to keep the ttb axle just get a 4'' kit and pass on the reversal. there really isn't any performance or ride quality to be gained by doing it to a ttb axle.
if you still plan to do it be sure to get the axle pivot drop mounts or else everything will be majorly fubared if it will even go back together at all.
to be honest, i can't even wrap my mind around how a leaf sprung ttb axle works. the axle halfs move up and down and have a solid mount in the middle, yet with a leaf suspension your axle is supposed to move forwards and backwards. how the hell is this supposed to be accomplished with a solid mount?????? the world may never know..........

I think that is why they have the front swing shackle design. The rear fixed mount to the axle mount doesnt change much at all thru the suspension travel. All the change from susp. movement is directed towards the front but remember that factory leaf TTb's have flat springs. The flatter the springs the less overall change you'll see. By making that front shackle swing ( side to side ) allows it to try and follow the arc that the axle halves move.
