I've been thinking about headers for my truck-96 F250 excab 4x4 460 5spd. They need to be emissions legal. I've been searching & all I find is for an AT truck...does anyone know if they can be made to work, or know of a company that make headers for a 5 speed truck?
I spent 800. on the headers, y-pipe and ram air intake. You just have to show interest in them, then they have a scratch and dent sale( boxes not the items) and they take quite a bit off
O did i mention. No gaskets, not one exhaust leak , fit perfect and they look almost as good as the day i put them on(8 years ago)
I agree with the CHeif! I have a '92 f-350 4x4 5-speed Crew Cab and have the same difficulty finding the headers. The only thing I can forsee being different between the Auto and the 5-speed might be the starter position. I sure would be appreciative of anyone out there that has tried the Headman Headers for the Auto on the 5-spd!!!! I am strongly considering spending the $340 for them and finding out myself.
1992 F350 4x4 , CrewCab, 7.5l, 5-speed.

Reason: Adding truck specs
I just got off of the phone with a guy from L&L, they do make headers for the 460 with a 5 speed. I had a set of their headers on my 76 ford. They were awesome! I will go with these...
of course all of the headers i see are for 49 state legal, not for use on california trucks. Guess where i live? yup right up the old tail pipe. thanks guys.
