Least Expensive Hard Tonneau

Looking to get a hard tonneau cover for 2010 XLT SCREW with 5.5' bed.

Like the Undercover but would settle for less for less $$$

Any recommendations?

I bought an Extang tri-fold for $745. Hard enough to stand on and light enough to R&R by one person. Just my opinion.

Theres a local company here that sells a textured black one piece cover that I may look at. Not sure if it's fiberglass or plastic but it looks nice.

Yea the BakFlip one is $749 at a local place around here. That's a lot of dough, but at least I won't be struggling with those snaps in the winter!

deltaboost, you can find a better deal online and then install the cover yourself. I just sent you an email.

I know you mentioned a hard cover, but have you thought about a soft cover like a Truxedo LoProQT or Extand Revolution?
They don't snap like the really inexpensive covers. They use a velcro strip down each side rail and they cannot be opened unless the tailgate is open. So if you have a locking gate then you have just a wee-bit of security. Dirty theives will just tear the cover, but at least it would keep the honest, honest. Most of these covers have flat crossbars (no bowing) and the bars roll up with the cover and buckle right behind the cab if you're hauling large items.

You should be able to pick either of those up for the high $400s - low $500s and they do make some lesser models like the Truxedo Truxport which is going on my SCrew tomorrow.

Just another option. Hope you find what you're looking for.

What about an Extang Full tilt. Its kinda the best of both world tonneau cover wise.

Extang

If not then I think the cheapest would be the Undercover tonneau cover.

Armor Lid does cost less than Undercover. But, it's an import from China and typically does not quite fit trucks as well as Undercover.

I had an Access Lite-rider cover for 4 1/2 years, 2 years on my 2006 and 2 1/2 years on my 2008. It's still in excellent shape, never had a problem. It will not fit my 2010 cause I have a 5 1/2 ft. box now. I'm selling this one and will buy another lite-rider as soon as I can. Great tonneau Cover.
