Turbo

Hello everybody I have 02 f350 7.3L one day pulling my 3 car trailer I heard a pop the whistling noise the only problem I am really having is that I have loss of power and more so when I am going up hills I have checked all the hoses and can't find any leaks stopped by the dealership they also checked hoses and couldn't find anything but they said it could be a crack or hole in the intercooler but would it make that kind of noise any help or advice would be greatly appreciated thank you in advance.

Could your boots or intercooler be leaking?

There are two exhaust manifolds that go towards the turbo. That is often an area of leak. Did the check the Spider things in the front that pushes air into the intake manfolds on the block?

"Bellowed" Up-Pipes

"Y" pipes have been known to leak. You have to go under the truck and follow the manifold till it get to a connector. If there is black around that, it is leaking

CFM+ 7.3L Intake

The black front that has a "Y" going to the manifolds has been known to leak

have you pulled off your intake hose and checked your turbo for excessive shaft play?

I hope you find something.
Sometimes we see loss of power because of the pickup socks in the fuel tank get clogged. There are some pictures floating around.I did not save them. But here is the fix and a cheap mod taht should be done eventually.

Welcome to guzzle's In-tank Hutch Mod Web Page
