hi-points are garbage! they are cheap but your better off throwin the bullets because you'll atleast hit your target. ive got about 6 friends who own them, they all say they jam all the time. california quit selling them because they were low quality.
357 is the best revolver you can get because you can shoot .38's as well. .38 is a wayyyyyy cheaper round so you can have tons of fun on less money but still have the 357 power
check out gunbroker.com you can buy a gun and have it shipped to your local ffl gun dealer. only thing is, when its mailed in your gun shop usually wants 130-150 for transfer.
i found a ruger blackhawk 357 on that site but i had to register with them and it said i have to wait twelve hours so tomorow im going to email the guy bout it the pistol i want is the s&w 500 mag lol now that could be fun but 1200 is way out my price range
