On / about August 9, 2010 I ordered two hood springs from Miller Obsolete Parts. (Miller Obsolete Parts*)
Once the parts arrived, turns out the parts received were incorrect.
I shipped the parts back via USPS delivery confirmation. According to USPS, Miller received the parts back on August 23.
To date (six weeks later) I have not received a credit back to my credit card. No response from Miller on my email requesting a credit. Spoke to Miller last week, was advised "someone would call me back shortly". I'm still waiting on the phone call.
I'm done with these people. The charge has been disputed with my credit card company.

I know in my area, if it is less then $5,000 they just don't have the man power to deal with it, and advised everyone on internet transactions it is a buyer BEWARE market. I would still call, you might be one of MANY who are being taken from this vendor, and you can jump onboard. If that is not the case, just keep incontact with them, and don't loose your cool, they will be even less likely to want to solve you problem.

It's over. I reported to my credit card company who immediately credited me back the $60 and sent a chargeback notice to the vendor. No need to keep in contact with them, I don't have time to waste making multiple followups begging for what's mine. Either you do what you say you will do (credit me back) when you say you will do it (upon return of the parts)....I'll give ONE contact to find out what the delay is....then if nothing happens....well, you know.

That's the one good thing about credit cards (the only one?). It gives the consumer some leverage to use against these less than honest companies.
Glad that you got your money back.

Glad to hear it worked out for you with no more added aggravation!
