1989 Ford F700 4dr Pick Up

This thing is sick, the paint job? :/
Just imagine the look on somebody's face as they run a red light and see you barreling down on them in this thing..

It's a beast of a truck, I would love to drive it through all the roads going up north, they were a blast in my idi (I swear my truck breathes better up there).

i dont think the brazilian 6.6l gets that kinda mpg, even if it was a split gear rear end.

28mpg I doubt, but the Brazilian engines supposedly do get pretty decent fuel economy when you're just running around empty. And this is a pretty mean looking truck, my friend's dad has an F600 crew-cab only it has a western-hauler-style aluminum bed and is used to pull horse trailers and goosenecks full of hay and one extremely long but not overly high toy-hauler - with the giant cow-catcher up front it's quite intimidating, but this one looks a whole lot meaner cause it's black and has those star-like wheels (forgot what they're called, I know they ain't split rims tho). This guy does need a cow-catcher of some sort tho, and sidepipes that can shoot flames, then he'll really be ready for Z-day, lol

as a flatbed with an attenuator on back, our 6.6 litre trucks with allison automatics were getting around 7 mpg. so with a manual trans and a split rear, i can see mayby 9-10 mpg with a pickup bed on it.

Don't forget it's missing like 11' of frame, and a huge enclosed back end seriously lowering the weight of the vehicle. 28? Prolly not, but better than your average f700? I would bet on it.

I kinda wanna build one, drive it for a while then sell it. Seems like a very time consuming build, but not terribly expensive. F700's are like 1.5-4k locally, a bed, and the back of a crew cab? Granted lots of fabricating, cutting, welding, but actual pieces for the build? Not to bad.
