Wild Custom Ford F-250 Dubbed ‘Whisperer’ Is Anything but Subtle
Giant rolling billboard of an F-250 commands attention everywhere it goes, which is exactly what it’s built to do.
In the world of custom trucks, there are many paths one can take. You can opt to keep your pickup stock, or just change a couple of things. But there are also plenty of people that want it all. That means building something that will turn heads and generate controversy everywhere they go. And this wild 2019 Ford F-250 built by Rad Rides certainly fits squarely in the latter category. This truck is specifically designed to command attention, and it does that in spades.
But if you’re familiar with the Garland, Texas-based builder, that shouldn’t come as a surprise. After all, Rad Rides has cranking out crazy custom trucks for over a decade now. Of course, they’re more than happy to treat your truck to simple things like leveling kits or spray-in bedliners. But they’ll also transform your ride into something like this F-250. Or happily sell you a complete, turn-key showstopper.
This particular truck, ironically named “Whisperer,” is already spoken for as a custom customer build. And that customer obviously doesn’t mind standing out, because the truck’s wild kryptek camo wrap job certainly wasn’t designed to blend into the background. No, this F-250 is massive, audacious, and downright wicked.
If the truck’s vinyl work wasn’t enough already, the F-250 sits up high thanks to a 6″ lift. It also rolls on large Fuel Vapor wheels, which are wrapped in knobby BFGoodrich T/A rubber. Throw in enough LED lighting up front to blind people five miles away, and you’ve got a pretty sinister looking machine. But then again, that’s exactly what the owner was going for.
One thing’s for sure – you aren’t going to miss this F-250 barreling down the road. And when you spot the intentional advertisement on the tailgate, it’s going to leave an impression. Perhaps one better than a high-dollar commercial spot on prime time TV. And if that was the intention of the owner and/or builder, we have to say that they absolutely nailed it. Love it or hate it, this F-250 will get your attention, one way or another.
