Longest Lasting Ford Trucks on the Road Today That’ll Run Forever
Research studies prove what we already knew – that these are the longest lasting Ford trucks you can buy.
These days, vehicles are nothing more than disposable items for many folks. Something that they drive for a couple of years and then trade-in on a shiny new model. But many of us still expect our trucks to go the distance and last for many years, or even decades. Luckily, we have a list of the longest-lasting Ford trucks built to hold up for hundreds of thousands of miles.
That certainly isn’t the case with a lot of modern, high-tech, overly complicated vehicles. So if you enjoy modern amenities and comfort, it’s good to know there are still some trucks that can do both. We collected data from a pair of iSeeCar‘s research studies to determine the longest lasting Ford trucks on the road today, and these four Blue Oval models made the cut.
Ford F-250 Super Duty
Those that have owned a Ford F-250 Super Duty shouldn’t be terribly surprised to find out that it ranked number one on iSeeCar’s longest-lasting vehicles list, regardless of model, in both years they’ve conducted the study. The study analyzed a sample of 12 million cars on the road from model years 1981 and newer to determine which ones had the highest percentage with over 200,000 miles. When the dust settled, the F-250 came out on top with a significant 6%, topping every single model from every single manufacturer with ease.
