Ford Truck in Texas Puts the Extra ‘Load’ in Payload Capacity

Ford Truck towing contents of house

Why does this guy have so many couches?

Ford truck owners have a lot of confidence in their truck’s payload and towing capacity. Ford truck lovers know that our trucks just don’t just look cool, but they are solid, reliable, haulers. They can do just about anything…y’know, within reason. But this driver decided ‘reason’ is just an overrated concept. To wit: While moving, he decided to haul the entire contents of his place on his Ford F-250.

Christian Chuck Casas spotted this remarkable haul at a gas station outside of San Antonio, Texas and posted it to Facebook with just one word: “Unbelievable.” We hear that. This mover might be a little crazy, but damn if his F-250 isn’t taking this huge haul without breaking much of a sweat. The truck is actually holding up! There’s minimal sagging, the suspension seems to be good. The cargo isn’t exactly secured that great, and there’s no way we’d drive behind this guy on the road, but he is actually getting it done.

Of course, we would never recommend doing this to your truck, because it is clearly insane. But we’re not going to lie, it’s kinda’ impressive. We’re torn. Do we give this ambitious hauler a slow clap or a head slap?

As they say, “Don’t Mess with Texas.”
