Flawless 1977 Ford F-150 up for Grabs (But OUCH That Price!)
Classic Blue Oval pickups don’t get much nicer than this super stunning and very expensive 1977 Ford F-150.
While there are exceptions to every rule, for the most part, the good things in life cost money. The really good things, well, they generally cost a lot of money, like this stunningly beautiful 1977 Ford F-150 that’s currently up for grabs at Vanguard Motor Sales. Following a masterful restoration, there are quite literally no bones to pick here – just a gorgeous, better than new pickup that may very well be worth its exorbitant asking price.
On the outside, the truck’s Raven Black paint is simply flawless, arrow straight, and miles deep. It’s been augmented by new chrome and trim, as well as a set of timeless 15-inch polished aluminum wheels wrapped in 33-inch BFGoodrich all-terrain tires for a look that will never go out of style. Plus, the combination of a short bed and four-wheel drive is always a desirable one from this era.
Peek inside the cab, and you’ll just find more of the same perfection. The contrasting black and white interior has been completely overhauled and looks like it’s never even been sat in at this point. There are a few aftermarket upgrades, including a Grant GT steering wheel and retro-style radio, but it’s otherwise bone stock. This particular 1977 Ford F-150 is loaded with amenities including air conditioning, power steering, and power front disc brakes, which is as good as it gets for a 1970s pickup.
Pop the hood, and you’ll find a 351 V8 dressed to the nines in a stunningly detailed engine bay. The Ford motor features a two-barrel Motorcraft carb up top and sends power to all four wheels via an NP435 four-speed manual transmission, NP205 transfer case, a limited-slip Ford 9-inch rear end fitted with 4.11 gears, and a Dana 44 front differential with Warn locking hubs.
Add it all up, and you’ve got one of the most amazing ’70s Blue Oval trucks we’ve come across in some time. The asking price is sure to scare off quite a few potential buyers, of course, but we don’t doubt that the right person with the means will come along eventually and fall in love with this stunning pickup.
