Drifting an F-550 Dump Truck in the Snow? Why Not?!?

Ace rally racer Troy Miller wonders: Can you drift a Ford F-550? 

Troy Miller is a rally racer known to be a madman on the track. But after checking out his Instagram, it’s clear that this speed racer is also a madman off-track. And we love it.

Usually Miller can be found behind the wheel of a Subaru, dominating for Rally America. But Miller hasn’t met a vehicle he hasn’t wanted to race or drift, and who can resist a Ford truck?

‘I was wondering if I could drift the dump truck…that’s a yes.’

Is it insane to drift a truck? Maybe. Is it crazy to drift a truck in the snow? Yes. What about drifting a bigass Ford F-550 dump truck? To quote one of Miller’s IG followers: “You’re not right!” But Miller took his bright chartreuse dump truck out in snowy Upstate New York with this simple query: “I was wondering if I could drift the dump truck…that’s a yes.”

This perfect snow drift is definitely a credit to both Miller and his exceptional driving, as well as to the Blue Oval. Who knew a dump truck could go sideways so gracefully? We’ll be following Miller’s Instagram account to see what else this expert rally racer can think up in the future.
