900 Horsepower 2.3L EcoBoost Mustang? Yes, Please!
SEMA is just around the corner, and we’ve already highlighted what Ford will have to offer to fans and media in attendance to the world’s largest auto show. But here’s something that one of the aftermarket companies is bringing, and it’s freakin’ awesome. You’re looking at a 900 horsepower Mustang, but that 900 hp is made from the 2.3L EcoBoost V4.
We already know that the V6 3.5L EcoBoost can make big power. There’s a reason why it’s the engine behind the all-new 2017 Ford GT supercar. But the little four-bangers are nothing to sneeze at. The folks at Bisimoto decided to showcase what they, and the engine, can do by building the Mustang you see here.
The engine is rebuilt using stronger internals, and the boost has be upped into the stratosphere, so it’s not really easy to make that level of horsepower. But they managed to do it. Additionally, they installed a full roll cage and super sticky tires to help put that power to the ground.
Finally, they put a unique set of wheels and a AirDesign body kit on, because SEMA. Whether or not you like the looks, you have to respect how much power Bisimoto has made out of such a tiny engine.
