Both the Ranger and the Ranger Raptor have upcoming debuts.
Ford will finally show off the much-anticipated new generation of the Ranger in January at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. But, according to Motoring we can also expect to see the first of the 2018 Ranger Raptor at its worldwide debut on February 7 next year in Thailand.
The Raptor will be powered by a turbo-diesel 2.0L four-cylinder engine for world markets. However details are not yet available as to what we will see offered back in the states, or when. Ford first began teasing the Raptor back in September in a YouTube video.
In the meantime we can look forward to the Ranger’s debut next month. We’ve seen a preview and we’re stoked to see what this bad boy can do. Ford has promised that off-reading mid-sized truck will be included in its 2019 lineup.
