1970 Ford Bronco Is One Far-out Restomod
Rebuilt first-gen Ford Bronco sports new engine and edgy interior details.
We came across this 1970 Ford Bronco while browsing Mecum Auctions. It is being auctioned off on November 15-17 at Mecum’s 2018 Las Vegas auction. It’s a cool and clean truck that we had to give a closer look.
The restomod Bronco has been completely restored. It obviously looks solid and timeless, as all first-gen Broncos do. But the owner put in a few details that made this rig stand out.
The 302 ci V8 engine has been completely rebuilt. It is paired to a 3-speed transmission. We love how well this restoration was done. It has new paint, polished valve covers, radiator, and stainless headers.
This Bronco has had an attitude adjustment with the new interior. What really stands out is the addition of aluminum diamond plate door panels. A nice edgy touch that we appreciate.
A new steal hood with black and red paint is a nice touch. Performance enhancements include new power disc brakes, new power steering, and new locking front hubcaps.
Ready to go off-road, the restoration and build includes a 2 inch lift with new springs and shocks, new 33 inch tires, and 2 inch dual exhaust and exit tail pipes. We’d love to take this beauty on the beach and show her off. Or maybe hit the trails. It’s a perfect combo of looks meets performance. Anywhere we go with this classic, it is sure to get noticed.
Interested in bidding? Yeah, us too. Check it out on Mecum Auctions.
