1967 Ford F-350 Utility Build Comes to Life
The first order of business was installing a new set of smaller mirrors in place of the giant tow pieces. And then, improving weather allowed the OP to get down and dirty.
“I spent a couple hours with the truck yesterday working on completely unnecessary things. The dash pad was disgusting, completely cracked and falling apart. I started to clean it but realized it wasn’t worth the effort. I figured out that it was bolted in place…so I took it off. The two nuts above the heater were a real pain to get to. The solution was a screwdriver with a socket extension attached to a swivel extension, attached to a long 3/8″ socket. Worked like a charm. I also had to remove the gauge cluster.”
After cleaning up the gauges and installing a new dash pad, things were looking much better already. And the new side mirrors definitely look pretty cool.
And that’s where this awesome Ford F-350 project sits as of now. Be sure and head over here to catch up on the work that’s been done so far, as well as keep up with future updates to this vintage rig!
