Bring Home a 1978 Ford F-100 Southern Belle
Southerners have a reputation for being extra hospitable, as well as loving and taking good care of trucks like they’re part of the family. That’s the case of this two-owner 1978 F-100 southern belle.
This ’78 lived the majority of its life in Georgia with the original owner, until he sold it to a family friend back in 2012. The new owner did a little bit of work to get it just right, installing a new exhaust, wheels, tires, brakes, billet grille, and giving it a respray to improve its looks.
The F-100 Ranger is a well-optioned truck to begin with, with power-steering and brakes, air conditioning, the convenience group package, and a 351 Windsor backed up by an automatic transmission. Overall, it’s a nice little package for someone looking for a weekend cruiser belle.
Despite the work that’s been done to it, this truck has obviously lived a pretty sweet life. Its Southern roots (away from the salt air) have served to keep it from rotting, and the original interior is proof that somebody loved it for a long time, and that’s what we like to call; southern hospitality!
