Where would I find the Chassis number? duh
I was trying to order the rear rubber brake line and it's asking specifically;
Rear; 4WD; From Chassis # E24001
Or
Rear; 4WD; To Chassis # E24000
I searched and couldn't find it, it's probally simple but I'm stumped
o
Thanks

That's early models and late models. What's the manufacture date of your truck? And what's the vin number end with?

I take it you have a 69 model? This is the consecutive unit number of the vin. -E23999 was built Oct. 68, and E24000+ was built Nov. 68+.

While I have the experts, my Dana 44 front differential has the numbers 44 6CF on the housing, is this a 3000 lb or 3500 lb unit? The steering knuckle housing ? (ball and socket) has 8 bolts.

It is the light duty 44. You have a 6800 GVW. The 3500 HD has 12 bolts and was mostly used for crews.

So I'm a "Rear; 4WD; To Chassis # E24000" I guess.
Thanks a bunch, time to order some stuff

You can find the VIN on the frame too. It's located just about inline with the battery (on the passenger side).
You can just make out the vin next to that ground wire on the frame
