Aftermarket wheels

Are you guys using aftermarket TPMS when you buy your new wheel/tire combo?
Is it difficult to retrain the TPMS to the correct wheels?

And lastly, which wheel brands are working with the larger hub of the 350? I don't want to buy new wheels and not have center caps.

Thanks,

ysgi

i got sota rims and the center caps do not work in rear, i think they r working on a fix tho. As for the tpms, the stock setup works fine on mine, no issues at all

I can't use the TPMS that cave with the OEM.wheels because I want to keep them intact.

Not only that, but I was hoping to order the wheels and tires as a package. That's means they're balanced at delivery and all I need to do is mount them to the truck.

Is this what everyone else is doing? OR are they scavenging their factory wheels for the TPMS?

You can get new sensors when you place the order for tires and wheels then when you do the install all you need to do is get the dealer to program them in

Any idea on what the dealer is charging for reprograming? I know I can call, but want to get a consensus first to see if I'm going to get raked over the coals.

They took the sensors from my factory wheels. Any tire place on the planet will sell a "rebuild kit" for them, typically a few bucks a wheel. Didn't require any reprogramming, etc.

As for brands, I can't speak to anything but what I've put on mine. Fuel wheels fit just fine. They have larger spaced center caps depending on offset to accommodate the larger hub. In my case, the offset was off the hub enough that I could use their standard size center caps.

.
If you read up just a little bit you will see that he wants to keep his original wheel package all together hence reprogramming of new sensors

I bought procomp rims and rear hub caps do not fit but they are working on it apparently. Looks fine without. I purchased new tpms for the truck and they ain't cheap.

295/65r20 fit with a offset bracket for mud flaps on a 20x9" ri. With +6 offset.

I have a 250 with the High Capacity tow package which gets me the same larger dana axle as 350. I did research and bought XD wheels being assured they fit the rear. Well they didn't. Sent them back, and bought Fuel Nutz two piece. Fuel makes a little larger center cap which fits great but you have to ask for it.
