Just get some Gorilla Glue and fix it. The front rubber seal was loose on one end of mine. Just applied a little glue and used a carpenter style vise/clip to hold it in place while the glue set up. No big deal.

That never happened to me. Glue sounds like a good fix.

Overall, are you happy with the cover? Is it fairly watertight?

Been doing a little online shopping around and I'm liking their products...would like to put a bed cover on my next truck. I'll be going with an 8 ft bed on the next truck and really want a cover AND a tool box. Looks like BF has a nice option for a toolbox that will fit under the cover.

The hard folding covers do a decent job of keeping water out. It takes a little adjusting to get the front to seal up but it can be done. No matter what I tried I still get some water by the tailgate in the heavy rains. The Revolver X2 seems to seal up better than either of my BackFlips did, plus the X2 doesn't need the drain tubes.

I'm not super happy with it, for the price I paid, I'd expect the seal to last longer. I hate the fact that I need to open it to shut the gate(but that's my fault).

They are sending a new strip... Hope it lasts longer than 2 months

You can adjust the cover so the gate can shut with the cover closed. That's how I have it setup on my 2012.

The new one is going to attach with adhesive, which means you'll need to completely remove, clean and hope you can stick the new one on straight. I don't understand why you couldn't glue the the small area of the existing one. You've made a mountain over a mole hill, in my opinion.

It got much worse, Sure I could have glued it, but they sent adhesive that I couldn't source locally.

I've got one other gripe about this cover, Lately we've had lots of wet weather and its at freeze/thaw temps. This cover constantly freezes itself to the tailgate. its frozen good, I've been sliding a putty knife under the lip and the top of the gate
