Snow plow package

What features does this include? I know it had the beefier springs in the front and a bigger alternator. Does it include anything else?
Thanks
Chris

Computer generated front springs ( usually stiffer...not always as mine did not come with stiffer springs), I believe dual alternators on diesels. That's it. A larger alternator on a gas does nothing for a snow plow as snow plow operations are generally done well under 2000 rpm and that is where larger alternators start to kick in. I have researched larger alternators however everyone I talk to says larger is not better when plowing. I need dual batteries.

Different fan clutch, relocated temp sensor, are also part of it.

Another added benefit is it makes a F250 sit level

fan clutch is the biggest upgrade for the 6.0/6.4 but you don't post your motor 03 may be a 7.3

Sorry it's a 5.4. And Dixiedog, it makes my f250's front sit a little higher.

Only springs for the front end on gassers. Should be a 6k spring I believe.

It includes a "heavy duty" alternator as well

I always thought that was just for the PSDs. I thought springs were all gas engines got, but now I'm seeing a heavy duty alt included in the SPP pack on the 2011 gassers.

WTF.

The other thing too, on my 02, AllData only lists one alt amp output for the V10.

5200 pound springs on my 03 F250. It also made the front sit higher then the rear until the PO did 350 blocks.

So a 6.4 F250 without the snow package doesn't sit level? I pick up a 2010 tomorrow.
