Welcome to FTE.
Well, if you mean hydraulic brakes, yes. BUT:
--
--you are in the wrong forum for brakes on large trucks. There is a large truck forum "up" from here:
Large Truck - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums
--BUT before you go there, what is the year and model of your truck? Do you have the VIN and warranty/data plate info?
IF your truck is an F350, you may want to post in the appropriate year forum for the lighter truck. F4/450 and up, go to Large trucks.
The more info you post, the better the results. "Large" trucks have a couple of different systems.
AND what problems are you having?
Gather the info and post in the correct forum.
thanks.

It's a f700 with brakes that work off a pump similar to a power steering pump

Sounds like you have a hydroboost brake system.
