no its sitting because it was leaking power steering fluid and it has a hole in the exhaust manifold. the leaking powersteering fluid was from the hose not being on right. He was running AD 30 W oil which is what they were running in the diesel equipment he worked for. and I took the gas cap off the truck today and smelled in the tank and it still smells like gas not like water.

ah, ok. although that gas thats been sitting there wont be any good

I've owned several 460s and ten mpg on a good day in front of an E4OD and 410 gears is the best I've ever done. The stick and the non od trannys gave worse. Just sayin', not to hyjack the thread. Sounds like a neat truck.

What did he change on it to get this 20MPG he says it gets?

460's are like FE engines... they'll use gas just "looking" at them, engine off.
