Hope for changing spark plugs!

Just want to shine a little light on all the gloom and doom surrouding changing the spark plugs in these 5.4 engines. I have a '05 FX4 with 145K miles. Been putting off changing these spark plugs due to all the bad things I have read. My truck started missing and running so bad I had to do it. Changed them without breaking any of them and truck runs great again.
Changed plugs with the engine cold.
Put about a tablespoon full of PB blaster penentrating oil in each plug.
Barely turned plugs about an 1/8 turn, waited about 2 hours and turned them 1/8 turn again and let them soaking overnight.
Next morning woke up and got after it.
Turned plugs slow and steady and they all came out.
I did remove air intake and throttle body just to give me more room, a little more work but made it easier. Especially getting to the back plugs.
So,it can be done just take your time and hopefully you will have good luck too.

Changing these plugs can be a hassle, but it's typically not the huge nightmare some think it is. Yes, some folks have had real trouble, but for most, it all works out just fine.

Congrats on getting the job done. No breakage at 154K!!!
