how do you wheel???? not trying to sound cheap, but if you hit a lot of water covered mud or standing water ways just buy cheap house brand gear oil as you will need to change it often. even with the breather lines up good and high water and muck still seem to get in there all the time. but as karl stated lucas anything is usually good stuff and 2 bottles of modifier in any clutch type posi axle

85-140 is what stock is on the sterling. Get some Lucas and call it good. As for the friction modifier, it's needed for clutch type limited slips, so if your front is an open diff, all you need is the oil. For the back plan to use 2 of the bottles of the Ford friction modifier.

Sorry but from what I have seen on test results for lucus fuel treatmeant and motor oil treatment I would have to say all things Lucas are bad.
Just trying to give you all a heads up on Lucas.
Thanks for the help

Yep for the front too. As for the Lucas stuff, I put 1 quart of their gear oil and 1 quart of house brand gear oil in each diff of my ranger. But then again, I change oil every few months. In my wheeler, I run 1 quart Lucas and the rest Mobil 1 75w-140. And I just realized I did a typo earlier when I sai 85w140, it should have read 75w-140.
