99 F-350 charging issue
First off, I want to thank all the folks here who posted info in the past because without the archives here I would have never figured this out. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

I had an intermittent charging issue. The truck would charge then not for about a month, then finally not. I figured it was the alternator so I changed that out along with the 10 year old battery. All was well for about a week then the intermittent charging returned. After a lot of research here I figured out the there should be ignition power to the green and black wire to the alternator and there wasn't. After tracing it back to its home near the battery I found where it had been rubbing against the battery tray and had finally wore through. I cobbed in a jumper wire and my charging issues were fixed. I also re routed the alternator cable loom so it didn’t go under the battery box.<o></o>

Thanks again to the past posters.<o></o>
