2003 Mountaineer A/c problems
New to the site and I need to find this problem very quickly and get back on the road. I have a 2003 Mountaineer 4.6L. The front and rear air are blowing warm. The A/C compressor clutch is kicking on, when the A/C is on. The A/C clutch will stay on all the time, when the A/C is on. But when the A/C is turns off the engine is gargling for through the intake, to me it sounds like its stalling.
Please Help.
We are leaving for Las Vegas in two days and its our only car and we would like to have A/C.

if the AC is not cold, you may be just a little flow on R134. With the front and rear systems, it takes close to 50 oz to fill. I would get a bottle and top it off and see what happens. Always nice to know the pressure on the low and high side so we can give you more info... normally if the compressor is running, the fluid is not REAL low. If the high side is only 160-170 psi, you will not get full cooling... a can will probably fix it.
