Radiator Cap

I just had an oil change and they did a radiator cap pressure check. They said the pressure of the cap was low, and a lot of 04 Ford owners were having the same problem. I live in Las Vegas and have not had any kind of engine temperature problems (and my A/C cools the truck down pretty quickly even at 112 F). Any one else heard of defective radiator caps on thier 04?

After ten months of owning an o4 F150 And subscribing to three Ford truck forums i have never seen a post about a bad radiator cap.Ask your dealer to check it because it is still under warranty.

Thanks Mike. I've had mine about ten months also, and have had no problems. Like I wrote, even the A/C works well here in Vegas. I had never seen anything about the radiator cap either and just wondered if it was something new that popped up, or just Jiffy Lube trying to pick up a few extra bucks. I have a hard time getting to the dealers, their hours and mine don't coincide. Thanks again.
