5.8 Windsor motor in F250?

Does anyone know if the 5.8 windsor motor was in anything other than an F250. Went to the 3 different junk yards today to get the two plugs for the alternator I need and couldn't find one of the plugs I needed. I'm thinking it's only for my motor? Oh by the way all the auto parts stores and the ford dealership don't carry the plug either. Going tomorrow am to see a truck only junk yard, wish me luck.

The alternator plugs won't be engine specific, it will depend on the option package and the alternator used.. and year model of course...

Seems odd, I wonder if a PO has changed it to something else..

I had one thought, it might be a Leese Neville (sp) setup like was used in ambulances, not saying it is, just that the wiring for them is waaaay different..

Maybe someone else will have some ideas...

around 20 percent of f150s have the 5.8s in them and around 30 percent of f250s have 5.8s in them and around 9 percent of f350s of them have the 5.8s in them if that helps you out at all.

Can you upload a picture of the plugs you are looking for, even the alternator you are working with? If you are not the original owner of this truck you are looking at a 20 yo truck that just about anything can be mixed and matched on your vehicle to make it work.
