F150 auto trans Windsor to F250 manual trans windsor

I just purchased a 96 F250 4x4 with the 5.8 Windsor and a manual trans....I am going to put the 5.8 Windsor in my F150 in the 250....the
150 has an automatic...anybody know if I can swap the trannies also ?

What year is the F150?

The trans will physically bolt in but whether it will work or not depends upon exactly what trans it is and how much work you are prepared to do.
