Explorer Fender Flares Removal
Hey there,
In Australia ALL the explorers that came here have, what I think, are those ugly fender flares. Here is what they look like 97 Explorer .
I like the look of the US Explorers which don't have these flares. So, is there a way to remove them easily, ie. just a few bolts here and there or will there be holes in the body after I take the bolts out?
Thanks for any help guys.

Strange-lookin' Explorer. The rear flares look like our factory Premium Sport/ Eddie Bauer ones, but the front ones stick out much farther than anything Ford sells here in the states. Maybe it's just a distortion in the photo. Either way, yes, there will be holes (about 5-6) left in the fender when you go to remove these. It's why the larger flares and the standard smaller moldings are not interchangeable. You'll have some filling/ sanding/ painting to do there.
