Tire wheel combination

Next week I am planning on lifting my 94 F150 crew cab with a six inch rough country lift. I think I have made a choice of going with a Mickey Thompson tire and wheel combination. I'm going with a 16 X 10 Classic ll wheel and some LT315/75R16 Mickey Thompson tires. Anyone out there have any experience with the how this set up my handle and ride?

MT tires are good, them wheels are classics and always look good, i have found most radial tires ride good. Most MT's dont ware the best lol. All depends on how you drive, type of drivin and such. Here are some pics of the wheel and tire combos I got.

17x9 MT Classic's with 35' Pro Comp XTerains

Same truck with AR Bajas 16.5x10 with 36's GY Wrangler RT/II's(Bias Plys Loud and rode bad lol)

MT Classic's 15x10 with 35' ProComp MTs

Stock FoMoCo 15x8 with 33' Nankang MT's

MT Classic Locks 15x8 with 35' Maxxas Bighorns

thanks for the pics, I like how the smaller wheels looked with more tire showing. You got any ideas on if I could go with a smaller rim and still fit the 35" tires on without any problems?

It will make a big difference depending on which mickey thompson tire you are going to go with. A Baja ATZ will be quieter and most likely ride better as well as last longer than say a Baja Claw.

I was going with the baja atz, instead of the claw. too much time spent working instead of going off road.

Yea you can go with a 15 and have 44's on there. Doesnt really matter the rim size. Just as long as there wide enough. If you got a F150, then id go with 15's instead of 16's, 15's cost way less.

Lol def, most people like the 17's on the F350, as you dont see that too much in this era, unless a Lightning. And with a 35, there is still plenty of tire so it doesnt look goofy like people running a 20 with a low profile MT...Super LAME lol.
