Turn Indicator on outside mirror ?

Turn Indicator light on mirror?
Our 2011 Expedition has what I think is a LED light under the glass on the driver's side outside mirror.
The downward "puddle" light and everything else seems to work on the mirror, except for the trun indicator.
I see it showing as part # 7L1Z-13B375-A.
After a quick look, I am not seeing anyway to get at the light assembly.
I moved the glass around and tried to see if there were fasteners or clips I could get at to check wiring or pull the turn light out.
Anyone had to work on one of these?
Any tips or tricks?
I hate to order and buy a new part then find out it was just a pinched wire or unplugged connector.
Appreciate whatever anyone might fill me in on.
T.I.A.

Yes the led turn signal is replaceable, its a PITA to get to. You need to remove the glass and there is a single screw holding it in. The replacement part is

does the turn signal work in the passenger mirror? if not, and you’re not sure if you even have them, that might indicate that you don’t.

maybe have a Ford dealer run your vin to see if you definitely have them or not

Yes, the passenger has one also and that one works.
They are visible underneath the glass, not integrated.
Looks like this one:

It does look like a pain.
Wondering if I can get at it without breaking the glass.
My older Expeditions has small screws for adjustment that you could move until they released and remove the glass.
This one didn't feel like it was going to come out.

My mirror mounted turn signal lights work, I just think they are too dim, you can hardly even see them in the daytime. You can definitely see them at night, just wonder how effective they are.

From inside the truck they do look dim. Go stand outside a few feet to the side of the truck, they are angled for that audience.

Finally got brave enough to pop the glass out of the mirror.
Found bad connection, cleaned it up, and back in business.
Even got the glass back in without issue.
Wish everything went well like this.
Merry Christmas Eve to all.
Enjoy the holidays.

If it did then this forum and others like would have no purpose.
