signal light in mirror
Hello, I have a 2009 f150 fx4 with the led signal lights in the mirrors. The led on the drivers side has a big crack in it. Does any one know how to remove the led so i can put in a new one?

You have to pop the mirror glass out of the housing, then remove the 4 screws that hold the front cover on, then depress a tab that allows the LED to pop out.
Getting the mirror glass out can be tricky and it and the motor are easily broken.
You have to put the mirror glass all the way in the up and in position to access the tabs with a screw driver that hold the mirror glass in place.
I have part of a old mirror if you want I could takes pictures of it to help show you what I'm talking about.
