Hi Mike,
They aren't a dealer but if you are in a pinch you can use the Exxon in Martinsville. It's a small shop called Mike & Rob's. I've been freinds with these guys for probably close to 20 years. Anything I don't have the time/equipment to do myself I send down to them even though I'm up in Flanders now. They are stand up guys and won't sell you anything you don't need.
Hope this helps,
Chris

Thanks Chris and Tom for your response. Speaking to others on the 6.0 PSD form, I can extend my warranty. This will give me a few years until I have to utilize a private shop. (2K 2yrs 200 mi) Of course this does come with a price, but am told with a diesel 6.0 it is worth the extra cash for peace of mind. It is good to know that I have a local shop like the Exxon in Martinsville as a backup for non-warranty work. Not to mention that it is less than three miles from my home. Keyport is far..well 45 minutes from Bridgewater to the Ford dealership, but I will keep that in mind. I have a dealership on Rt. 22 Lacardi that I was told services diesels. (8miles from home) Not as many techs as the Somerville Ford, but lets just say I need to find another dealer whom can fix my issues without keeping my truck for a week. Replacing a EGR after five days just made me shake my head wondering what was done during this time.
Thanks agin guys.
Mike

While not that close to you (but around the corner from me) I use Bell Ford in Rahway/Colonia for warranty work, and the moment the warranty expires I go down the street to "Kenny & Billy's Gulf". I know Kenny and Billy personally for the past eight years I've been using them as a service provider and they're about as honest/above-board as two guys can be, but note they aren't the cheapest. I'm happy to pay a small premium for quality "done right the first time" work.

jerzydiver...Nice! I just had somone else tell me today that Flemington Ford is a good dealership with some top notch techs. It is 30min away from me, but for a good tech/dealership, I will make the drive. By the way, how did you know your head gaskets were shot? What year is your truck? (I didn't look at your CP yet...so you might have it already listed) How long was it in the shop? I sound like my two 1/2 year daughter with all these quesitons.
Thanks for the suggestion.
Fred...thanks for the suggestion. I will keep that in mind if I am down that way. You never know when you need a shop in case your in bind. Thanks bud.

Nice....I will do so. I just have to get the time to drop the truck off. I will mention your name. That was a boat load of work done on your truck. Were you showing codes when the cooler went? I am not showing codes, but it is like I am choking the engine until it warms up most of the time. It is not that...I am cold hesitation, but like it is missing a cyl or two. An injector sticking...Turbo...ahh I just need a good tech to just give my best a once over.
You dive I see....My bud Laurance also dives. He is always going over to some quarry in PA. Summer he sails from Blemar...dont know the boat name. Small world...thought I would throw that out as you might have been on a dive with him.
Thanks man!
