I have dry rot all over my block heater cord. It will trip gfi when if gets wet from snow. Does anyone know where i can order just the cord?
Does the 6.0 cord work as replacement? Ive been searching but unlucky so far.

 

I just cut an extension cord and soldered it to the plug then wrapped and silconed the heck out of it. Worked for 4 years and to my knowledge still works today. Sold the truck. Hope this helps.

The type of cord isn't important. As mentioned, use anything that is the proper gauge wire and make sure the connections are good. Many of us visit our local boat shop and pick up a Marinco plug to put on the end of the cord so it's permanently mounted. Here's a couple of links to some installs.
