It is not very hard to do at all. Most of the seats within the SuperDuty family from 1999 - 2010 are the same for the most part. Try to stick with a seat that came from your cab setup " REG/Supr/Crew cab" configuration. I was told that some bolt patterns between 2 different cab configs could be slightly different. In the worse case, you will have to drill a hole through the cab floor, if one was not already there. " Usually the holes are already under the carpet , covered with a plug. Looking under the truck will tell you if you are that lucky.

To be safe, measure your current seat bolt pattern , and compare it with the seats that you might be thinking of. If they match, you are good to go.

Some Excursion seats fit for certain years as well.

I recently swapped out my bucket seats for a full bench seat. The bench seat came out of a new F-550 SD Truck. Got the seat with the Ford Plastic still on it, very good condition no mods needed, fit perfectly , from a wrecker yard Fit perfectly.

Try doing a search with the search engine on here under seats. You will get a lot of info.

As far as the power, you can either run a line from the battery into the cab via the blunt wires under the hood, or use the upfitter swtiches if not being used already. No airbag wiring to be worried about / Just the drivers seat belt buckle. That only has two wires, which can be changed out with another seats' buckel , if needed ...... no difficulty at all.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me. If you do not have any seats yet, try looking through wrecker yards. That is where I got my seat from. You never know what is out there. EBAYMOTORS AND CAR-PART.COM are great sources to see what is out there

Some yards have access to new parts from commercial vehicles that get modified for heavy commercial use, anything from new beds to seats.

Good-Luck
