OT need space to swap an engine

OT cause its not flathead related, but here goes: Anybody in the Tucson area have an extra bay in your shop. I need a space for about a week sometime in the next couple of months.

My daughter's Expy died and I've got an extra 5.4 here in Montana. If I can find space I'll just haul the engine down there for the swap.

Thanks guys!

If I was in that area it would be a done deal!
Salt Lake has a garage The Wrench-It Center | Do-It-Yourself Vehicle Repair with some tools etc were you can rent it for your own repairs, I know it's probably not the cheapest route but I wonder if there is something like that in Tucson if you can't find someone down there? Good luck,
Josh

too bad it's not a flathead huh, you could have it replaced and back on the road in about 2-4 hours.

Are you active duty, retired, reserve, know anyone or have relatives in the military?

Most military bases (in your area Davis Monthan AFB) have excellent "Auto Hobby Shops."

These facilities have storage stalls, lifts, tools, and parts supplies. If you are elegible, you might want to check that out.

Check with Fatfenders56 (Tim White). He lives in the Tucson area and might be of some help.

Ditto

Tim's name was the first one that came to mind. I know there are other Tuscan area members but I can't think of their names offhand

Good luck

Tim, let me check, I believe there is a rent-a-bay place there that has two-post lifts, hoists, air tool hookup, etc, that they rent for about $7/hr.

Tim, I wish you needed the space in my area I'd give you the space and a hand to do it. Really wish I could help. I like your idea of asking for help, we can all help each other when it comes to stuff like this. I hope if anyone on the board is ever in the SE Wisc. area and needs help, or just want to stop by, will let me know.

Bob, my wife and I will be in Blanchardville on January 29th to February 1st. That's a bit west of you I know, but I'd love to visit and see your collection. PM me if you think we can work out a time. Thanks.
