Brighter Reverse Lights

I have an 08 F350 Dually. Does anyone make a brighter reverse light. My windows are tinted and at night backing into my driveway its a tad dark. I saw some lights on another dually that mounted on the fender flare but no idea where to get them or if they would help/

What about mounting a couple small lights under the rear bumper and wiring them into your reverse lights?

I like a small set of driving lights mounted under the rear bumper and a toggle switch to turn on. Not only handy for backing in the dark but also hooking up trailers, changing propane bottles and what ever else you need light for at that moment.

I agree with Chris and mistakenID. A small set of aux lights will work well. You can wire them with a relay and a switch so that they can be used automatically or manually also.

I was hoping to find something clean looking. I know I could mount lights back there but it's not really what I am looking for in looks.

Here are two threads about auxiliary reverse lights. The first one is a set is a set of stealth lights installed that are virtually invisible until turned on. The second has a variety of members' vehicles with different lights / mounting suggestions.

Looks pretty darn close, if not the same. I would think you could mount them like the ones in the first link on the gray Harley SD. Since your truck sits lower than his, I would think they would be virtually impossible to see until they're on.

Wireless backup cameras wired mounted on the license plate screws, with power from the back up light (or license plate light) is the way to go.

Less than $100 if you shop carefully.

Better check State and Local laws. Some don't allow but up to a certain candlepower for rear facing lights........

Doesn't one of the under tail gate LED light bars go white when you go in reverse? I thought I saw on that did, but I didnt have the $$$, and now I can't find it.

Recon makes one like you describe - red turn signals, stop lights, goes white in reverse. Looks pretty sweet.
