Ihave a sf3 flash, it was for my old 6.0l diesel. it says it is pre loaded for the 5.4 in the f150.. although it wont work? it uploads but then puts the engine into safe mode ?

any body have a cure for this.

 

try to update it. i had that trouble on mine.

 

what kind of cord do i use? and is it free too update?

Yes they are free updates and the cord is one that most if not all printers use. If you look on the bottom of the programmer there is a small port looks like a square with 2 sides are at an angle. The other end will be your normal usb end. My cable for my HP printer works for it. So you can try that out.

can anyone email me the flu file i cant figure this out and i dont have that file to update the device, i have downloaded the file i need from sct but cant open.
