What is the best programmer in everyone's opinion for your buck? Just curious I have been looking at them and wondering what gives the best all around gains in power and MPG. Thanks for the input.

 

SCT X3 tuner from 5 STAR TUNING. Call Mike, He is a member here. He will build you a custom tune for "YOUR" truck, With a reasonable price, And customer service that is second to none. I increased in fuel mileage by 2.5mpg, stiffer shifts and great power in tow mode. It was well worth the money and would not trade it for any other brand.

 

Egde is pretty good but it will need to be custom tuned by Power Hungry Performance if you have a CAI, if not your check engine like will stay on due to the leaning out because of the intake.

 

Gryphon makes a sweet tuner for the F150.

 

X2 on that. He is awsome and the SCT x3 is a great product. I love mine. 87 econ, 91 tow, and 91 performance custom tunes

 

If you run the Edge on level two with a CAI it should be fine. Level two runs a little bit richer so it compensates for the CAI. That being said, custom tunes are still the best way to go. I have an Edge and a Volant CAI and they are running fine together. When I have some spare cash I'll send the Edge to Power Hungry Performance for some custom tunes.
